The Stage Company produces 2 shows a year, one musical and one non-musical. Students audition for parts in the shows. These auditions usually take place in June or Sept. for the November production, and in December for the March production. Dates and Times of auditions are specific to the production. Please email the Director with any questions about auditions.
These productions are supported by a student production company (Pro. Co.) which manages all of the non-performance aspects of the production (Set, Props, Lights, Sound, Costume, Make Up and Hair, Stage Management and Publicity).
Production Company meets on Wednesdays from 3:10 - 4:00 in Rm 250. We welcome new members at any time.
The Stage Company is the extracurricular theatre program at John Stark Regional High School. The Stage Company produces at least 2 shows a year, one musical and one non-musical. In addition, the Stage Company has produced student-directed one act plays, student-written staged readings, and attended regional, state and national theatre festivals and workshops where we have performed ensemble and solo/duet pieces for adjudication.
Through dedicated work with the Stage Company, students can gain membership in the International Thespian Society (Troupe #4150) which opens opportunities for scholarships and further education in theatre.
