Meeting Times and Locations:
La Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica meets the 2nd and 3rd Thursday morning of each month at 7:40 a.m. in Room 111.

Club Description:
The Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica (SHH) is an honor society for high school students enrolled in Spanish and/or Portuguese, sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP).  Any John Stark student who has maintained an honor average in the study of Spanish for a minimum of three semesters and is in the 10th grade or higher is eligible to be a member of the SHH.  SHH students are also asked to provide community service for the Spanish-speaking community whenever possible.  Some of the highlights of SHH work include designing a lesson plan for Spanish students at Henniker Community School and translating children's books in English to Spanish to donate to a Spanish-speaking country.
