As you know, Monday is Presidents' Day here in the United States of America and the Social Studies Department is holding a Presidents' Day Contest. Members of the Social Studies Department , as well as others in the building , will be representing various Presidents of the U.S. They will not be dressing as Presidents but will have 2-3 clues about their identity. Ask them for these clues and use the information to identify the President they represent. Record your answers on paper and place the paper in the designated box in the main office. Winners will be randomly chosen from entries with at least 6 correct Presidential identifications. This contest is open to all members of the John Stark Community.

The Boys Basketball team lost a heartbreaker last night 39-37 versus Coe-Brown. The Generals played one of their best defensive games of the season holding Coe-Brown to just14 first-half points but couldn't quite generate enough on the offensive end to pull out the win. Aaron Bergeron had 8 points and spearheaded the Generals defensive effort, Chase Patterson had 8 points and 5 assists, Peyton Marden had 7 second-half points, while Parker McQuarrie led the team with 13 rebounds. The Generals next home game is Friday Night against Hanover. This will be the last chance to catch the boys before the break in what will be a BIG game for the Generals. JV stars at 5 pm, Varsity starts at 6:30 pm.
