No School On Monday - Martin Luther King Day
The Unified Generals Basketball Team came back from 12 points behind to win our first game of the season, 44-40 against Concord. Luke Gorski was high scorer with 28 points, Matt Long scored his first basket of the year. The home opener against Bow will be Friday, January 19th at 3:30 pm.

The General Hawks hockey team defeated Monadnock by a score of 7-1 last night. Noah Chapman led the team in scoring with 1 goal and 2 assists. Brett Patnode (1 goal, 1 assist) returned to the ice and had a goal off a beautiful assist from Jake Cole. Tyler Scordo rounded out the goal scoring and Cabot Lineberry also provided an assist. Jamo Bourque had 22 saves in net to secure the win. The team goes on the road for a game before returning home next Saturday, January 20th to take on Berlin. Thanks to our fans for coming to the game last night.

For those in attendance last night at Lee Clement Arena you saw quite a hockey game. The General Hawks hockey team fell to Lebanon by a score of 4-3 in overtime. The game was back and forth and the General Hawks took the lead with two minutes remaining in the game only to have the call overturned. In overtime, Lebanon managed to trickle the puck into the goal to take the victory. Jake Cole provided an assist for the team and Jameson Bourque put on a phenomenal display of goaltending making 19 saves. The team returns home this Wednesday to take on Monadnock at 6 pm. Tickets are just $1 for students. We would like to thank those that came to the game last night and hope to see our fans again tomorrow night.
Wednesday, January 31st at flex former John Stark student Bryanne Campbell will be here to discuss her work in engineering with the NH Department of Transportation. Other career opportunities with the DOT will also be discussed.

The General Hawks Hockey team defeated Kearsarge-Plymouth by a score of 8-1 last Wednesday night. Highlights were Freshman goalie Caysen Allard had his first career varsity victory and Austin Lunt had his first varsity assist. On Saturday the General Hawks defeated Belmont-Gilford by a score of 4-1. Noah Chapman had a goal and an assist and Jake Cole also provided an assist in the win. Jamo Bourque had 19 saves. The team returns to the ice tonight to take on Division II Lebanon. The game is in Henniker at 7:15 and is $1 for students. We hope to see you there!
