Canceled Games:
Boys Varsity and JV Lacrosse Home game for today have been postponed.
Boys Varsity Baseball Home game has been postponed.
Boys JV Baseball Away game has been postponed.
John Stark Boys Baseball Wins Season Opener vs. Oyster River 5-4!  The pitching was solid for the Generals as Spencer Beahm lead the way with 4 strikeouts and 2 walks, while only allowing 2 runs in 3 innings of work. Jared Widger followed by striking out 3, with two walks and only allowing two runs in 3 plus innings of work.  Nick LaBrecque and Jason Johannisson lead the way with each picking up a hit. 
The John Stark Varsity Baseball team fell in a close battle with Oyster River yesterday to fall to 1 and 1 on the season. Derek Goldrick hit a solo home run and pitched 4 innings giving up no earned runs. Brett Patnode and Brandon Langdon also got hits for the Generals and Ben Stogner threw a shutout inning in relief.
The John Stark Girls Lacrosse team defeated Timberlane yesterday with a score of 6-2. Leading the way for the Generals was Rylee Ledoux with four goals, along with Cailee Green and Cady Loos each chipping in a goal. Hannah Marquis and Sara Medvetz led the team in assists. The generals strong defense was a major factor in the win allowing Timberlane to score only two goals. Sam Porter had some great saves in net to help secure the back to back win.

The Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team pulled out a hard fought 9-8 win over Goffstown with Rylee Ledoux's 4th goal of the game with 2 1/2 minutes remaining.  Abbey Brandt scored her first 3 goals of the season and Piper MacLean recorded her first career varsity goal. The girls play again today at Timberlane.
The Varsity Girls Softball team lost to Sanborn 7-2 yesterday. Elizabeth Aubin made her Freshmen pitching debut and threw 3 scoreless innings striking out 1 and walking none. Kali Kolehmainen went 1 for 3 with a RBI and a run scored. Jocelyn Dimond walked and scored a run and Alyssa Robichaud went 1 for 2 and stole a base.
The teams next game is at home on Monday against Pelham. 
Break a leg to the cast and crew of She Kills Monsters who are representing the state of New Hampshire at the New England Theatre Festival in Norwich MA this weekend!

The John Stark Varsity Baseball team opened its season yesterday with a win, defeating Lebanon 13-5. Jeremy Aubin was the winning pitcher going 4 scoreless innings, surrendering only 1 hit and 1 walk while striking out 7. Derek Goldrick paced the offense by going 4 for 4 with 5 RBI and 4 runs scored. The team will host Oyster River on Thursday at 4:15 PM.

Adventures in Wonderland Prom tickets are on sale this week, each ticket is $65.00. Tickets can be purchased during lunches this week. If you are bringing someone that is not a student from JS you will need to pick up a Guest Registration Form in the main office, tickets may not be purchased until it is filled out. 
Attention Seniors: April 18th Manchester Community College will be in the Counseling Center. You have an opportunity to apply to MCC for free and you will find out if you have been accepted that day. Make an appointment with Mrs. Glynn in the Counseling Center ASAP, Spaces are limited. 

Do you play an instrument?  Do you wish you played an instrument?  Mr. Williams is offering summer lessons at John Stark again this year.  Lessons will be on Mondays starting June 26th

If you are interested, grab a registration sheet off the call board.  Or see Mr. Williams with any questions.  Whatever the instrument, whatever your ability level – keep your chops from getting rusty over the summer with summer lessons.

Registration sheets and payment must be turned in by Monday, June 12th so act now to take advantage of this summer opportunity.

The Rick Hall Golf Classic is offering a scholarship to a John Stark senior or alumnus who has participated in community service and has made an impact on our community in doing so.
