Please join Cinema 603 in celebrating Pink Shirt Day on Feb. 22nd. Pink Shirt Day started in Canada when a 9th-grade boy was bullied for wearing a pink shirt the first day of school. A couple of students from the senior class decided that this was not okay. The went out and purchased pink shirts, passed them around and the bullies were greeted the next day by a "sea of pink". Now Pink Shirt Day is an international event that celebrates anyone that has the courage to stand up against bullying. Join us in wearing pink this Wednesday, Feb. 22nd.
