Please join Cinema 603 in celebrating Pink Shirt Day on Feb. 22nd. Pink Shirt Day started in Canada when a 9th-grade boy was bullied for wearing a pink shirt the first day of school. A couple of students from the senior class decided that this was not okay. The went out and purchased pink shirts, passed them around and the bullies were greeted the next day by a "sea of pink". Now Pink Shirt Day is an international event that celebrates anyone that has the courage to stand up against bullying. Join us in wearing pink this Wednesday, Feb. 22nd.

Attention General Hawks Hockey fans:  This Saturday's game versus ConVal/Conant now has a faceoff time of 12:00 pm.  If we win this game we clinch a playoff berth so we would love your support.  This is our second to last home game.  Tickets are $1 for students and $4 for adults.  We hope to see you there!

To the Art History and Latin students scheduled to view exhibits at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Ma. tomorrow Feb 16th, the trip has been postponed due to snow days and possible weather tomorrow.

The Boys Basketball Team won their third in a row with an impressive 59-50 win vs. 12-1 Coe-Brown last night. The boys trailed early but a 21-9 second quarter run put the Generals ahead, strong defense and rebounding kept them ahead for the rest of the game. Drew M. led the Generals with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Cooper G. added 16, including 2 clutch 3's in the fourth quarter. Adam T. had a career night 13 points, including three 3's during the Generals 2nd quarter run. 

Students that wish to be considered for a spot in a CRTC program next school year, your application should be into the counseling center by Friday, February 17th. 

The General Hawks defeated Laconia-Winnisquam 8-3 last night at NEC.  Fans in attendance were able to witness not one but two hat tricks by General Hawks players.  Co-Captain Cam B. had two assists and Brett P. also added a helper in the high scoring affair.  Freshman goaltender Curtis M. had his first career varsity win posting 11 saves.  The General Hawks return to action tonight at Kearsarge/Plymouth.  Thanks to the fans who came to the game last night.



Applications for Peer Leadership 2017-2018 are now available in the Counseling Center and in Mr. Matzke's office in room 217.  Please pick up a copy as soon as possible.  Applications for Peer Leadership are due no later than Friday, Feb. 17th.
